Coastal Walks

Walking the CBR Region Coast region offers an extraordinary immersion in nature.

The National Parks of the Canberra Region Coast are pristine, void of others and stunningly beautiful.

Choose from a wide variety of walks; long or short, fast paced or leisurely, easy or difficult. Enjoy a bushwalk, a beach saunter, a walk amongst the roos or lyrebirds, an island trek or a mountain track. There are countless walks to discover in state forests and nationals parks, villages and towns.

Some of our iconic walk experiences include;

Light to Light Walk . Ben Boyd National Park

The 31km Light to Light Walking Track from Boyd’s Tower to Green Cape Lightstation passes through spectacular COASTal scenery.

Mt Gulaga (Mt Dromedary) Walk Gulaga National Park

Gulaga and the surrounding landscape are important for Aboriginal people and especially significant to the Yuin women of the South COAST of NSW.

Haycock to Barmouth (short walk)

In the space of an hour and a half, you can stroll along the ancient and rugged COAST to the eucalypt lined, aquamarine waters of Pambula River Mouth.

Bingie Dreaming Track

The Bingie Dreaming Track follows part of the dreaming track used by the Brinja-Yuin people. It has some great vantage points for whale watching and passes through a variety of plant communities from eucalyptus forests to heath lands.
